Description
Clay Biryani Handi black – deep burned traditional cookware
PRODUCT BENEFITS: This clay Biryani Handi is made from naturally excavated clay and fired twice in a kiln. The second firing is done at nearly 1200°C using wood and hay, which gives the pot its strength and natural black finish. This process is what creates the clay Biryani Handi black look and makes it suitable for gas stove cooking without cracking easily.
Clay cooking releases minerals like iron, phosphorus, and magnesium into food. Since clay is alkaline, it helps balance the pH of dishes while cooking. The porous nature of the pot allows heat and moisture to circulate evenly, so biryani and curries cook well without burning or sticking.
HEALTH ASSURANCE: Each clay Biryani Handi is handmade, so size and shape may vary slightly. Extra sand adds durability, and it comes pre-seasoned with edible corn starch. Color may change during cooking—red may turn black or black may turn reddish. No chemicals are used, and care instructions are included.
