DEEP BURNED CLAY CURRY POT
This pot is made using an age-old pottery method. Regular red clay pots are fired once, while deep burned pots are fired twice. During the second firing, the pots are stacked together and fired using wood and hay at temperatures close to 1200°C. This extra firing makes the pot tougher and long-lasting, and it naturally turns black during the process. These pots can take high heat and are safe to use on gas stoves, which is why many people consider them the best pot in India for traditional cooking.
