Clay Rice Pot
This clay rice pot is handmade using naturally dug clay and the old deep burning method. The clay is naturally alkaline, so it helps balance the acidity in food. It also keeps natural minerals like iron, phosphorus, and magnesium. Because clay is porous, heat and moisture spread evenly inside the pot. This helps rice cook slowly and properly without burning or drying out.
What makes it different?
Regular red pots are fired only once. This clay rice pot is fired twice. In the second firing, the pots are stacked together and burned with wood and hay at nearly 1200°C. This makes the pot stronger, longer-lasting, and naturally black in colour. It can handle high heat and works well on a gas stove.
